The original purpose for making this blog was to encourage me practicing English. I'm really struggling to learn English, something I had never done seriously before.
For a simple Indonesian girl like me, go overseas was never been in my mind. I never thought about traveling, studying, working, making family or whatever abroad. And that's why I never been serious learning English.
But now I am! Thousands kilometer across the continents from the equator to the arctic circle. For the first time I see out of my previous world. Something I never thought before, and will be here at least for four years. That's so looooong time. What should I do then?
This might be weird, why I come to Norway if there is nothing to do?? It's because of love. You can say that. I married him in the beginning of the year then flew with him in less than a half year after. Now I live in my new family in the new country which are so different. I am a wife, not a child in this family. In Norway, I am a foreigner. Have no friends, no relatives, no job, no activities, and so on.
But I believe, every single day will be a unique opportunity to know more. God will help me day by day to find out who I am and what should I do. Being foreigner sometime is good. Learning new thing is good. It's good to know the people, their culture and lifestyle. Taste their food, enjoy the nature, experiencing study life and work environment. Those will be my way to enjoy this new life. After all, this journey will bring me to somewhere in the future. With better understanding about who I am and what I do in this granted life.
